Pain Institute Opens Headache Clinic |
In response
to our many patients who suffer from chronic headaches, The
Pain Institute has recently added a special Headache Clinic.
Treatment is provided
by Medical Director Michael C. Cronen, D.O., a member of the
National Headache Foundation who recently received the Certificate
of Added Qualification in Headache Management from the National
Board for Certification in Headache Management.
“Many of our patients suffer from chronic headaches,”
explains Dr. Cronen. “At The Pain Institute, we conduct
a total evaluation of the patient and determine the cause
of
the headache. We then customize treatment for each patient,
which may include a combination of medical management and
physical
therapy, depending on the patient’s needs. We have three
board-certified anesthesiologists who can use the latest advances
in pain management, as well as an experienced, certified physical
therapist. In many cases, we can eliminate headaches from a
patient’s life,” he said. |
